Tutoring approach

My main focus in teaching is to be inspiring, patient, and understanding. Learning can be difficult and daunting but with the right teacher learning can also be a huge enjoyment. As a teacher I provide full dedication in ensuring that the student is learning, developing and most importantly learning because he/she has the desire to.

Professional experience

Offline tutoring experience: 1-3 years

Online tutoring experience: 0-1 years

I have had 3 years of both private, group and classroom teaching experience.

I currently teach English Literature from a primary to A-Level, A-level to degree Politics, Primary Maths and EFL (The whole Cambridge ESOL syllabus)

I am currently tutoring a student with Dyslexia and have taught students with learning difficulties in the past. I have had experience teaching Year 7- GCSE English literature, all Cambridge ESOL examination levels including IELTS, UK Citizenship Skills for Life, and have given talks in exam skills seminars.

Qualifications

  • I have a BA Honours degree in International Relations and Italian from the University of Exeter as well as a CELTA Teaching certificate from International House London.
  • I am also fully CRB checked and passed.
