Tutoring approach

My approach depends entirely on the student and their aims: if the student has exams coming up I'll gear lessons towards past papers with a structured framework to cover all necessary topics, and if it's general help we can focus on whatever the student has struggled with in class that week. In all cases I review my lesson plans on a weekly basis (or even in the middle of a lesson!) so I can be sure that a topic has been fully understood and the student is happy with it before moving on.

Professional experience

Offline tutoring experience: 1-3 years

Online tutoring experience: 0-1 years

I have been a private tutor since graduating from Cambridge University last year. I have taught maths, English, French, science and music (practical and theoretical) to students of a variety of levels and between the ages of 5 and 17. Before this, I had experience of teaching music performance and music theory to my peers by running several choirs and music groups.

I have experience of teaching to several exam boards and have learnt to adapt to each, thus ensuring my students are covering everything necessary for their exams.
